abilities by finishing no less than second in every race he entered except one. Before long he
became one of the most sought after bloodlines of any stallion because of his offspring’s ability
to excel not only on the track but also in the barrel arena. Even several years after Dash For
Cash’s death, there is still a big demand for his daughters as broodmares. He was the sire of
1,353 foals with offspring earnings more than $39 million on the track, 1 AQHA Supreme
Championship, 880 ROM, 39 world championships, and 135 stakes winners. Broodmare sire of

prettiest horses in the business with excellent conformation and mind.
Dash For Cash
Dam of First Down Dash, First Prize Rose SI-98 (stakes placed winner of
6 races, $22,754.) She is a daughter of Running Champion Gallant Jet
SI-102 (Jet Deck x Leo Jewel by Leo) and out of Rose Bug SI-96 (6 wins,

earnings of  $200,625.  In only eight
foal crops, Champion Jet Deck sired
the great Easy Jet, SI-100, Stakes
Winner plus AQHA Hall progeny that
earned more than $6,804,289. He
sired Gallant Jet, the sire of First
Prize Rose, dam of the great First
Down Dash. On  8/26/1971, Jet Deck
was found dead in his paddock the
result of an overdose of barbiturates.
The killers were never found.

TimeTo ThinkRich
Timeto Thinkrich had a 99
Speed Index, and he won the All
American Futurity was 3 time
champion, 2 year old race
champion and 1973 High
money earning horse. He was
sired by the Thoroughbred sire
Aforethought.
The Thoroughbred sire Aforethought sired 2 All American Futurity
winners.  He was a full brother to 2 Time Champion Sprinter filly
Ta Wee and is out of Champion TB Sprinter Intentionally
Easy Six inherited speed from both sides of his pedigree. On the top, he
was an own son of the great Easy Jet that had a speed index of 100. On
the bottom, he was out of the race mare Peggy Toro, that also had a
speed index of 100. Easy Six himself was the winner of just under
$200,000 and earned a speed index of 97. He sired only 180 foals from
three (3) crops, yet these offspring earned over $2.6 million on the track.
He was obviously on his way to being a successful producer of fast
horses.

Easy Six will always be one of those horses we will have to wonder about.
What if ... what if he had lived to produce the large number of offspring that
his great sire Easy Jet produced? But that was not to be. His life was cut
short by colic in 1978 at 6 years of age.

2 of Easy Jets greatest sons were Six Fols and the outstanding
broodmare sire Streakin Six.
Aforethought
Easy Six
Everyone who knows anything about Quarter Horses has heard of Easy Jet. He was sired by
the great Jet Deck, and out of a mare named Lena's Bar, a thoroughbred that was a truly great
race horse herself, outrunning such legends as Go Man Go and Double Bid. As a 2 year old,
Easy Jet won the All American Futurity and numerous other prestigious races. He was named
Champion 2-year-old colt, and in this same year was named World Champion Quarter
Running Horse and Champion Stallion, titles seldom bestowed upon a 2-year-old.

He rose to fame at the height of the Quarter Horse racing game, when the southwest was rich
with oil and gas money. In 1980, Easy Jet stood for a fee of $30,000, and was later syndicated
for $30 million! He produced just over 2,500 registered foals, placing him near the top of the all
time AQHA producer list. Easy Jet remained an equine celebrity throughout his life, influencing
people as well as horses. We've seen his halter with brass name plate hanging proudly in the
office at Belle Mere Farms in Lexington, Oklahoma. There is little doubt that he will remain one
of the greatest Quarter Horses of all time.

Easy Jet achieved success as a stallion because he was able to pass on the traits that made
him great.  Easy Jet's sons appear frequently in the pedigrees of great race horses.  He sired
Easily Smashed, himself a champion, and Easy Six, the sire of Streakin Six along with many
others. Look for Easy Jet's name also on the bottom side of the pedigree, as he became a
most successful broodmare sire.
